Fresh Find Friday: Cory Lee

Meet Cory Lee, an inspiring wanderer who overcomes the challenges of travel all within the confines of his wheelchair.

When he was just two years old Cory was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Two years later Cory got his first powered wheelchair and took his first trip. The fact that he had this disability did not deter him from his curiosity about the world one bit, nor did it his parents!

From Disney at 4 years old to the Bahamas at 15, Cory grew an intense love for the world of travel growing up. He loved trying new foods, meeting new people, and seeing new things, and being within the confines of his wheelchair didn't change any of that.

Today Cory travels to places such as Germany, Australia, and South Africa. He certainly doesn't boast that travel in a wheelchair is the easiest, but he does boast that is completely possible! His past travel experiences have led him to learn so much about how to successfully travel WHEREVER you want to, despite what people may think is beyond your 'limits'.

On Curb Free with Cory Lee, my goal is to show you how to travel, where to travel, and most importantly, why travel as a person with a disability. - Cory Lee
