Your Rock The Mall experience begins with guided tours of Washington DC’s best and brightest sights. Explore history, memorials, and popular museums. The grand finale is a gathering with your Girl Scouts sisters from around the world for an inspiring sing-a-long.
Day 1 (Thursday 6/7/2012)
•Arlington National Cemetery
Meet your tour guide for a walking tour through the familiar white gravestones of Arlington and additional sights like the Memorial Amphitheater, JFK Grave Site Memorial with its eternal flame, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
•Illuminations Tour
After dinner, take in DC’s famous monuments and memorials beautifully illuminated for a breathtaking view.
Day 2 (Friday 6/8/2012)
•Breakfast at your hotel
•White House Area Walking Tour
Find the perfect White House photo op, or perhaps visit the medallion for your founder, Juliette Gordon Low, on the Points of Light Volunteer Pathway.
•John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
Take a tour of this famous and beautiful DC event center.
•Air & Space Museum
The Smithsonian’s most popular museum features larger-than-life exhibits on the history of flight, space exploration, and our understanding of the universe.
•Museum of Natural History
Enjoy prehistoric favorites, butterflies, mammals, and unique gem stones from around the world, including the famous Hope Diamond.
•Mystery Dinner Playhouse
Day 3 (Saturday 6/9/2012)
•Girls Scouts 100th Anniversary Sing-A-Long
Today’s the day! You’ll be amazed by the experience ahead as you join thousands of your sisters in song.
Day 4 (Sunday 6/10/2012)
•Breakfast at your hotel
•Depart for Home
