Erie County Botanical Gardens

When your adult group is visiting Niagara Falls, you should stop by and check out the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. The location was established in 1900. It was created from visions of extraordinary men. The attraction is dedicated to advancing an appreciation for and knowledge of plant life and its connection to individuals and cultures. The team will have the opportunity to look at a living plant collection and see fascinating exhibits as part of the experience. The destination is a national historic site and is a popular place to visit.

Buffalo Botanical Gardens has a variety of interesting exhibits for group members to explore. One of the exhibit areas is the Tropical Plants House. The area has beautiful flowering tropical plants and a vine-covered gazebo. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. Another exhibit is known as the Panama Cloud Forest. This area is where visitors will find out what it is like to live 200’ above the rainforest floor. You will see plants such as exotic orchids, bromeliads, and varieties of tillandsia.

Buffalo Botanical Gardens has greenhouses that shelter cactus, fruit trees, palms, and orchids. There are a park and a golf course at the location. The American Ivy Association certified the claim of the largest ivy collection of any botanical garden in the world. The location hosts special events throughout the year for you to enjoy. It is a perfect place to visit even during the winter months.
