Buffalo Zoo
Do you love animals? If so, you should visit the Buffalo Zoo. This zoo is the third oldest urban zoo in the United States and contains some of the world’s most exotic, endangered, and local wildlife. Guests of all ages will enjoy exploring this popular attraction.
One of the exhibits contains mammals. There are mammals such as endangered Siberian tigers, Asian Elephants, rock hyrax, and the pigmy zebu. There are both wild and domestic mammals at the zoo for you to see.
There is another exhibit that features a variety of reptiles. Visitors can check out animals including Egyptian spiny-tailed lizards, pancake tortoises, and limbless lizards. There are also American alligators at the exhibit.
The Buffalo Zoo also houses several different amphibians. Visitors will have the opportunity to check out creatures which include the tomato frogs, Puerto Rican crested toads, and several different species of poison arrow frogs. There is also a huge collection of birds that reside at the zoo for you to examine. You can check out birds such as cinereous vultures, Lady Ross’ plantain-eaters, and tufted teal.
The Buffalo Zoo hosts special events throughout the year for guests of all ages to enjoy. One of the events is known as Wines in the Wild. In the course of the experience, visitors will have the opportunity to taste a variety of food and dessert items and wines and beers. There are also specialty services vendors at the event. The event takes place at the end of July. You will also enjoy live music and visits from some of your favorite animal ambassadors. The event is held rain or shine.
