Boston Duck Tour
Looking for a unique way to tour Boston? Take an 80-minute ride on a WWII style semi-aquatic vehicle as it travels on land and water through the streets and canals of Boston. Ride by the State House, the Bunker Hill Monument, peer into the Government Center, Beacon Hill, and the Boston Common among others. Laugh and learn with the ConDUCKtor's informational yet funny little-known facts about Boston's history then splash your way into the Charles River to see an even more unique view of the city skyline.
The Boston Duck Tour is an interesting and comfortable way to view the city before you take more in-depth tours of your favorite places. Tours depart daily from three locations and each drive by slightly different locations. Each DUCK can fit up to 36 guests but if your group is larger than this, there are 28 vehicles so everyone can ride along. Groups may customize over two dozen possible packages to get the most out of their Boston Duck experience including restaurants and attractions like the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium. If your group is over 20 people, be sure to make reservations a few weeks in advance as this is a popular attraction.
Historic in themselves, the DUCKs are fashioned after the style of WWII DUKW vehicles. They are regularly inspected by the Coast Guard and certified with modern safety standards. Some history of these vehicles is included in the tour along with the facts about the city’s famous landmarks. Over the years the Boston Duck Tours have become popular with school groups for being entertaining while providing educational information about Boston and its history. Kids have a blast with the hilarious ConDUCKtors and adults have praised their wonderful wealth of interesting knowledge.
