Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
For something with a slower, quieter pace during your Niagara Falls adventure consider bringing your group to the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, the European-style gardens that hold 99 acres of allees, roses, herbs, veggies, and much more!
These gardens have been open to the public since 1936, gorgeously maintained by the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, which you can also find on the same grounds as the gardens. The gardens hold perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas, and several formal themed gardens. One of many guests' favorites includes the world-famous rose garden, which holds over 2400 roses total.
You can explore the gardens plus the several footpaths, ponds, and an onsite arboretum featuring one of Canada's finest collections of ornamental trees and shrubs via a self-guided tour during your visit, or perhaps opt-in for a seasonal Horse and Carriage Tour of the gardens each May through October. This site is also home to the Butterfly Conservatory, for extra education and entertainment!
