Niagara Falls 2 Day Tour

If your group is yearning for an extraordinary outdoor adventure that doesn't include camping, this 2-Day getaway perfectly fits the bill! You’ll experience all the magic and majesty of Niagara Falls from nearly every vantage point possible, with plenty of time to explore the gorgeous surrounding area as you like.

Day 1

Niagara’s Fury 4D Experience (Canada)
You’ll kick off Day 1 of your Niagara Falls adventure with an incredibly immersive 4D experience unlike any other. An entertaining and educational animated pre-show details the Ice Age creation of the Falls – a delightful, essential prelude to the breathtaking intensity of what follows. When you and your group step inside the specially designed 360-degree theater, the real show begins as the temperature plummets 20 degrees, real snow whirls around you, raging waters roar and actual freezing mist fill the air. The floor shudders and quakes beneath your feet and you grab to steady yourself; you’re at once captivated and terrified by the explosive energy of Mother Nature hard at work on one of her greatest masterpieces. Stunning visuals produced with cutting edge technology envelop you and your group “4D” Universal Studios-style as the Falls are formed - and you are there!

Maid of the Mist Boat Tour
Through the mid-19th century, sturdy rowboats ferried passengers across the grand Niagara River below the legendary Falls. By 1846, however, river tycoons decided a bigger vessel could profit by hauling travelers, luggage, mail and cargo across the misty expanse of swirling waters – and the first Maid of the Mist steamboat was christened. In 1848, construction of a new suspension bridge slowed business to a standstill, and “Maid of the Mist” was re-branded as a sightseeing voyage still operating today. Toss on your blue keepsake poncho, tuck your valuables inside something waterproof, slip on your “water shoes” and prepare for the most exhilarating, wet and wonderful ride of your life as you board the stately 74’ Maid of the Mist VI or the majestic 80’ Maid of the Mist VII, swing wide and away from the dock and Rainbow Bridge and head out across the churning river toward the Falls! You won’t believe the eyes-OR ears-as you approach the thundering curtains of water. You’ll thrill to the deafening roar of the Falls and thrust of the boat working against the river, moving steadily through the rainbow mist and soaking spray to bring you and your awe-struck companions an unforgettable view of the most visited natural wonders in the world!

American Falls Observation Tower
You and your group will enjoy absolutely unmatched, unobstructed views of the Niagara Falls and Canada skyline from the observation deck of the stunning 282 foot American Falls Observation Tower. Bird watching is a popular pastime here, with peregrine falcons, bald eagles and a variety of gull species present in the Niagara Gorge, officially designated an Audubon Important Bird Area (IBA).

Niagara Cave of the Wind Tour
The original cave was discovered behind Bridal Veil Falls in 1834, and dubbed Aeolus' Cave, after the Greek god of winds. Guided tours officially began in 1841, and continued until a devastating rockfall in 1920 rendered passage unsafe; the tour reopened in 1924, bringing the bravest visitors to the front of the Bridal Veil instead of behind it. Your group’s extraordinary adventure begins with an elevator ride deep into the Niagara Gorge. Geared-up in a souvenir rain poncho and special sandals, you’ll ever-so-gingerly tread specially constructed wooden walkways along the boiling Niagara River to the precariously perched Hurricane Deck, just a few feet from the raging whitewater – “this” far from “too close!” Here, Bridal Veil Falls generates tropical storm-like conditions that buffet you and your hiking companions with powerful, wet gusts of nearly 70 mph as you experience this natural wonder, nearly dizzy with the deafening motion of the churning waters beneath the roaring curtain.

Day 2

Free Time in Niagara Falls
Rise and shine! You and your group are free to explore the Falls and beautiful surrounding area at your leisure; a good hearty breakfast might just be in order to fuel your wanderings. Niagara USA is blessed with some truly dynamic topography - the perfect foil for a little independent outdoor adventure. Just ten minutes away from the raging waters you’ll discover plenty of first-rate shopping, whether you’re craving a 200-store outlet experience or simply want to spend your morning quietly browsing local boutiques and antique shops.

Aquarium of Niagara USA
The mission of the Aquarium of Niagara, USA, is to broaden public awareness of aquatic ecosystems through innovative and stimulating exhibits, displays, and educational and recreational programs promoting conservation and support research. Visitors to this tidy establishment, the first inland oceanarium, can join Peruvian penguins, harbor seals, tidal pool inhabitants and even sharks for daily feeding sessions; sea lion encounters afford guests the opportunity to learn more about marine mammals through participation in interactive play sessions. The Aquarium is home to an intriguing community of tropical and freshwater residents including the deadly piranha and prehistoric-in-appearance sturgeon, a fish that once thrived in the Great Lakes and Niagara River and can live to be more than 100 years old and come to weigh over 200 pounds. Be sure to stop by “Fin-Esse” for a perfect memento of your visit!

Niagara Falls Adventure Theater
Your group won’t want to miss this favorite attraction in Niagara Falls State Park! Hold onto your hats as “Legends of Adventure” comes roaring to life on a massive 45-foot screen while the thunderous and unmistakable roar of the iconic Falls is delivered clear and true through digital Dolby surround-sound. Plunge head-first into all the mist, myths and mysteries of one of the most storied natural wonders of the world during this exhilarating 40-minute presentation showing on the hour at the Niagara Adventure Movie Theater.
