Niagara Aerospace Museum
Our mission is to preserve and share the rich heritage of and ongoing contributions to aviation and aerospace design and manufacturing in Western New York and to inspire and facilitate educational opportunities for learners of all ages in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
Welcome to the Niagara Aerospace Museum, the aviation museum located in an old terminal building of the Niagara Falls International Airport. This museum saw its beginnings in the 1970s and 1980s when the leaders of the Aero Club of Buffalo, the 2nd oldest aero club in the world, created it.
Inside this museum, you will learn all about aviation history locally, nationally, and worldwide as you explore several different exhibits, historic documents, records, and an impressive onsite aircraft collection. The following are just a few examples of what you will see during your visit;
- Miss Lend Lease, A Bell P-39 Airacobra that saw combat in the skies over Russia.
- Bell Model 47, NC-3H, the only remaining example of the original 11 Model 47s.
- A Bell Rocket Belt – Made famous from the James Bond™ movie, “Thunderball.”
