Johnny Cash Museum
Get ready to walk the line, right into this red-bricked museum featuring the life and music career of the late “man in black,” Johnny Cash.
Through the largest and most comprehensive collection of Johnny Cash artifacts, this museum shows guests what it was like to be Johnny, be married to Johnny, and be around Johnny. Take a look at the numerous pictures, instruments, personal letters, handwritten songs, artwork, and stage costumes, as well as current family items and memories.
This museum was opened in 2013 and has since then seen thousands of visitors and true Johnny Cash fans from around the globe come through its doors in its convenient location in the heart of musical downtown.
A tour of the museum will show your group stunning graphics and interactive technology that gives a 3D walk through the life and legend of the Cash family. Take a look at Johnny and June’s marriage certificate, tin cups from Folsom Prison, or talk to one of Johnny and June’s children personally about the couple's love for, and effect on, country music. Check out the museum store on the way out, the home of the largest Johnny Cash apparel anywhere in the nation. You can even stop at the Cafe and Coffee Shop for a relaxing break as you take in some classic Cash music.
