Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

It is dedicated to establishing and maintaining the highest standards of animal care and providing its visitors with an entertaining and educational experience. The location opened on June 20, 2000. It has inspired nearly a million visitors a year. Group members can explore fascinating exhibits and participate in various activities in the course of the visit.
The exhibits at Shark Reef Aquarium are unique. One of the exhibits is known as the Golden Crocodile. This area is where the team can check out a 12,000-gallon freshwater tank and come face to face with the highly unusual Golden Crocodile. Another exhibit is known as the Amazon Predators exhibit. It has a 30,000-gallon freshwater tank that is home to animals such as the giant arapaima, the pacu, and freshwater stingrays. Caribbean Reef is a 44000-gallon saltwater exhibit that houses animals such as parrotfish, pufferfish, and other beautiful tropical fish. The Moon Jellies exhibit has the moon jellyfish in a 2500-gallon saltwater exhibit.
The Shark Reef Aquarium offers its visitors a variety of fun animal encounters and other activities. One of the encounters is known as the Stingray Feed. In the course of the experience, group members will reach in the touch pool and feed the aquarium’s stingrays and ancient horseshoe crabs. The Sea Turtle Feed is fun and educational. Visitors will have the opportunity to feed the aquarium’s 300-pound sea turtles. You will also meet some of the other toothy residents of the exhibit. Group members can also take home souvenir photos of the experience.
