Day 3 You'll See:
For some seriously fun times in Galveston, your group will want to consider this quick but entertaining 3-day itinerary jam-packed with waterpark fun, beachside fun, and even some pretty sweet treats to boot!
Day One
Moody Gardens
The blue pyramid, a twelve-story behemoth, houses the aquarium keeping care of roughly 10,000 marine creatures, big and small. Giant pools, tanks, and exhibits represent regions of the world's seas from the North Pacific to the Caribbean, South Atlantic, and beyond! When you've seen everything in the Aquarium Pyramid, skip over to the clear glass Rainforest Pyramid. Here is where you'll find most of the "gardens" in the Moody Gardens name!
Day Two
Schlitterbahn Waterpark
Groups on Gulf Coast holidays will definitely want to plan a splash-spree at mega-popular Schlitterbahn Waterpark, where waterdogs of all ages are treated to a super extravaganza of refreshing fun in the sun! The 70,000 square foot Wasserfest area magically converts to an indoor water retreat featuring more than a dozen super-cool wet and wild adventures, select weekends from early spring through December, ensuring year-round access to an invigorating waterpark experience.
Day Three
The Strand
That warm happiness and the indescribable thrill of shopping for that perfect souvenir or kitschy collectible to take back home is an essential component of any successful vacation. It's almost as vital as great food and fantastic entertainment to your group’s time away from home. The Strand Historic District in Galveston is the ultimate place for this, with not only shopping to entice your group but entertainment, history, and some of the best restaurants the city can offer.
La King's Confectionery
This ice cream parlor serves as a true throwback to the 1920s when 'folks came out to enjoy a treat and visit', providing a modern-day sweet treat hangout for locals and guests to Galveston alike. Inside you will find a candy counter that never seems to end, complete with an old-school candy maker offering traditional sweets like Peanut and Peco Brittle, Divinity, Pecan Pralines, Hand-Dipped Chocolates, Fudge, and their famous Salt Water Taffy. You can even get a chance to watch a working ribbon candy line!
