Welcome to Wade Oval, one of northeast Ohio’s most popular public spaces, home to several iconic annual festivals that regularly attract both locals and tourists. Here at Wade, located on East Boulevard in Cleveland, near U Circle, you will find the 7-acre park and green space located between 2 major local museums as well as the locally popular Kulas Community Stage. This park is the perfect place for your group to enjoy some downtime, people watch, grab a snack or picnic, and get a bit more active if they want, with several different hiking and biking trails around the scenic park area.
Wade Oval is well known for its year-round special events, from its popular weekly WOW Wade Oval Wednesdays and frequent Parade the Circle and Circle Village events to its several seasonal specialties. In the summer you can enjoy regular concerts, the fall brings great harvest time festivals, the winter means the Wade Oval Ice Rink and festivities are out, and in the spring you will enjoy amazing park sightseeing. The Ice Rink is a really big draw to this park, open each late November to late February, complete with cozy lights, fire pits, and plenty of holiday greenery. Locals also love the ice carving and Skate with Santa sessions that take place during this time.
Not only will you be able to participate in a special event almost any time of your visit, but there are also the onsite regulars like the aforementioned Kulas Community Stage, kids Imagination Playground, and permanent lawn games your whole group can enjoy such as giant Connect 4 and corn hole.
