Welcome to the premier historic landmark of Omaha, Joslyn Castle. This 6 acre Scottish Baronial style mansion was the home of locally prominent George and Sarah Joslyn, the residence first built in 1903. The landmark sits along Omaha's Gold Coast, right in the heart of midtown.
Designated a spot on the National Register of Historic Places and official local landmark list, this site will offer your group extremely insightful information on Omaha's local culture and history. Learn about the architect behind the home, the then famous prominent John McDonald, the owners of the home, the homes history as the first Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, and even tidbits about local life in general. The main focus of the Joslyn Castle is to 'educate and enhance the cultural aspects of the Omaha community'.
