Weeden House Museum
Since 1819 the charm and grandeur of the Federal period Weeden House have been evident in the South.
With its winding staircase and elegant foliage, it’s no wonder this home inspired artist and poet, Maria Howard Weeden.
Everyday life in a 1840s family is depicted here amongst the verses, watercolors and unusual curvature of the architecture, but it is the dedication of the gracious hosts that truly deliver the ambiance with their songs, stories, and banter, taking your group a step further back in time.
