When your group is in Gettysburg, you should stop by the famous Gettysburg Battlefield. The team should allow four hours to walk around the location and examine the memorabilia on display. The museum has one of the world’s largest collections of outdoor sculptures. Guests of all ages will enjoy visiting this popular destination.
If you want to ride a bus and see the battlefield, the group can enjoy a ride and check out interesting historic sites as part of the experience. In the course of the ride, a staff member will share the stories pertaining to the famous Battle of Gettysburg. Group members can experience the battle through dramatization. The group will relive the Battle of Gettysburg in the course of the presentation. The drama consists of a Hollywood cast of actors, technicians, and special effects in order to recreate the battle. The team will hear drum rolls, cannons roar, and riffles crack as part of the experience. Group members will check out sites such as Little Round Top, the Peach Orchard, the Devil’s Den, Pickett’s Charge, and the Wheat Field.
In the course of your group visit, you should stop by the National Park Service Museum and Visitor Center. It contains information and interesting displays that focus on the Battle of Gettysburg. The exhibits in the museum are interactive and educational. Some of them use multimedia. Group members can also watch a film which is called A New Birth of Freedom. Morgan Freeman is the narrator of the program. The team can shop at the Museum Book Store or grab a bite at the Refreshment Saloon. The store has books and other memorabilia that pertain to the Battle of Gettysburg.
