Commercial Street
Considered to be the most colorful main street on Cape Cod, no trip would be complete without a tour of Commercial Street. Located in Provincetown, visitors to this delectable area can explore shops, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants, watch a performance at the artistic venues, and visit eclectic bars along the way - if you're old enough, that is.
If you love to shop, Commercial Street is the area for you. Visitors can shop till they drop at places like Shop Therapy, the Purple Feather chocolate shop, the Nuthouse, and Forbidden Fruit. Shop Therapy has interesting clothing for different lifestyles while the Purple Feather Cafe and Treatery has delicious chocolate dipped waffle cones, chocolate dipped bacon, cheesecakes, and other baked goods. They also serve jerk chicken and lobster macaroni and cheese! MacMillan Wharf is another fascinating destination to visit, located just off of Commercial Street, where you can grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants and watch the boats on the beach while you whale watch!
During the summer, Commercial Street is the epicenter for many fun festivals like Carnival, the largest outdoor festival in Massachusetts, as well as the Portuguese Festival. No matter the festival or time you visit, your group is sure to have a fabulous time touring Commercial Street.
