Day 1 -
Anglin's Fishing Pier
Anglin's Fishing Pier is a key part of Lauderdale by the Sea, this popular fishing pier first opened in 1963. There are 2 different types of fishing you can do here; sand and reef 'rock' fishing. Find sand fishing from the Bait House to the Middle House, then find reef fishing from the Middle House to the 'T'. All year long you can find Snapper, Snook, Blue Runners, and Croakers, and seasonally you can find Bluefish, Mackerel, and Cobia. Stop by the Bait House and pick up tackle, live bait, or snacks from the cafe, or perhaps book a pier tour while here.
Fort Lauderdale Beach
Here at the Fort Lauderdale Beach, your group can get the best 'recreation, relaxation, and enjoyment' in the area as you stick your toes in the sand or explore the sidewalk cafes, shops, and restaurants surrounding the beach. Walk the Promenade, observe the award-winning wave wall, or take part in any of the many different beachside recreations options available. Your group can boat, windsurf, jet ski, play volleyball, snorkel, scuba dive, deep-sea fish, or even rollerblade!
Las Olas Boulevard
Las Olas provides guests with fashion boutiques, art galleries, museums, restaurants, cafes, and bars, each place holding a clear south Florida flair! Explore over 120 specialty retail shops, galleries, museums, salons, and spas, with fun shops such as J McLaughlin and Unique Treasures beckoning you in from the street. As far as food goes, you will have over 30 different tasty options, some favorites including B Square Burgers & Booze, Flight 19, and Lobster Bar.
NSU Museum of Art
The entire collection provides 'exceptional access to the highest level of artistic expression'. The permanent collection features 19th and early 20th century paintings and drawings by realist William Glacoons, the most extensive collection of US works by post-WWII, avant-garde CoBrA artists, and a large holding of Latin American artists.
