Fort Lauderdale is a sunny seaside town on Florida's southeastern coast, sandwiched in between Miami and West Palm Beach. The area is of course known for its beaches, but also its canals, shopping, dining, and recreation options. Spend your time at local nature centers, state parks, entertainment attractions, or just spend your entire visit soaking up the sun on the beach.

Fort Lauderdale is a city in the State of Florida, on the Atlantic coast 23 miles (37 km) north of Miami. It is the county seat of Broward Count. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 165,521. It is a principal city of the South Florida metropolitan area, which was home to 5,564,635 people at the 2010 census.
