Group Tours Does Nashville

Four of the girls from Group Tours, one being me, fully enjoyed the great city of Nashville, TN for 4 days last week. What a great place to visit and have some fun!

We, of course, visited Nashville’s downtown strip for some great country music and a few boot shops (both a must for Nashville), but we also enjoyed much more of what the great city of Nashville has to offer travelers on our trip as well.

We stayed at the beautiful Gaylord Resort, a breathtaking and one of a kind attraction in Nashville. It has 2900 hundred rooms, 4000 employees, countless palm trees, a river running through it, a skywalk and 9 acres of indoor gardens. On your next visit to Nashville, try and stay at this hotel if it is not booked! Thanks to the amazing staff at the Gaylord for your one of a kind service!

One of our first attraction stops was a visit to the beautiful Belle Meade Plantation and Winery. This plantation is rich in American history and has a wonderful staff. Thanks, Belle Meade Staff for a great tour!

After Beale Meade, we took an evening Ghost Tour in downtown Nashville and I will admit I was a little skeptical at first, but I was wrong, I loved the ghost tour. The spooky stories, historical information, and amazing guide with “Nashville Ghost Tours” provided us with an entertaining evening that will not soon be forgotten.

We also visited the amazing Nashville Zoo where we took a behind the scenes tour and fed the giraffes. How exciting to have a 17ft tall giraffe bend down and eat a lettuce leaf out of your hand! Thank you Nashville Zoo for a great morning at your wonderful zoo!

The Adventure Science Center was next on the list. This is an amazing place to visit for adults and children alike! There was so much to do and see and so many great exhibits we did not have time to see them all. If you are planning on taking a trip with your kids do not miss the Nashville Zoo and Adventure Science Center—your whole family will love them.

While everything listed above was remarkable and added to my love for the city of Nashville there is a reason this was my fourth visit…music, music, music! We were in the city where country music was born—so of course, we had to enjoy all of the sites that made Nashville country music’s home. We visited the mother church of country music, the hallowed ground of the Ryman Auditorium and enjoyed the great exhibits and beauty. Our next stop was the Grand Ole Opry—country music’s home today! We enjoyed a great concert, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Grand Ole Opry and a trip on stage for a photo opportunity. Our trip would not have been complete without a trip to Studio B, the Country Music Hall of Fame and a concert!

Our trip only lasted four days, but we used every minute to see as much of Nashville as possible and what this great city has to offer travelers. Nashville is a great city full of history, excitement, music and something for everyone to enjoy, no matter what your age! If you are planning a group trip and are not sure where to go, pick Nashville, you will love it!  And who knows maybe we will see you there, we are already planning my next visit!
