 Step into Hawaii’s natural beauty!

Welcome to Hawaii's World Botanical Gardens, the popular commercial garden center located between Umauma and Hakalau. In a location nicknamed 'Zip Isle', it goes without saying this garden haven features amazing zip-lining opportunities for guests, as well as stunningly scenic hiking, biking, segway, and sightseeing in general.

You will find both paved and unpaved trails here that zig-zag through tropical flora, as well as a children's maze, zip lines above the rainforest, segway tours, and even bike tours.

When it comes to the actual gardens, you can take self-guided tours, or you can explore with a horticultural expert. The latter experience will provide you with the most exclusive personal learning experiences available in Hawaii, the tour guides taking you through what is proudly considered one of the largest collections of plants in the state of Hawaii. The various sections of the gardens include Rainbow Walk, The Arboretum, World-Class Maze, and Rainforest Trail. The Rainforest Trail winds along the Hanapueu Stream and provides guests with a truly tropical aesthetic with tall draping trees, wild bananas, blooming heliconias, ferns, flowering vines, and other tropical plants. There is even an extension of the trail that shows off cinnamon, coffee, guava, tea, and palms! How much more tropical can you get?
