This cruise line allows guests to 'sail back in time and discover traditional sailing on a classic 73-foot topsail schooner', the perfect experience for day and evening sails on Lake Erie. This ship is actually the only square-rigged, topsail schooner sailing out of the Historic Buffalo Harbor!
There are several different sailing options, including Sunset Sails, Craft Brew Cruises, Wine in the Wind Sails, Children's Pirate Adventures, and Educational Excursions. We love the Educational Program options, which include 2 main cruises; Nautical Science Cruise and Field Trip Cruise. The Nautical Science Cruise focuses on nautical science and local history, featuring hands-on team building options with sail setting, navigation, mechanical advantage, buoyancy, and more. The Field Trip Cruise focuses more on nautical terminology, waterfront history, types of vessels, and sail theory. Both cruises are customizable depending on your group's needs and educational focus.
