Seven Falls
Broadmoor Seven Falls is one of the most gorgeous sights to see in Colorado Springs, this natural attraction featuring a stunning series of seven waterfalls from the South Cheyenne Creek.
Seven Falls is situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon flanked by the Pillars of Hercules, which are themselves around 900 feet. Seven Falls is so iconic in stature that it is actually Colorado's only waterfall that is included in the National Geographic list of international waterfalls! The falls have served 130 years as a tourist attraction, with additional options to hike, shop, dine, view exhibits, and pan for gold while you are here.
The trip to the falls can be done by either a free shuttle service or by driving "the grandest mile of scenery" from the Broadmoor. Once here your group will have the option of hiking one of two trails, taking the 224-step stairway to the top or simply viewing the falls from below. Across the falls you will find Eagles Nest, the spot with the best views of the falls. Take the unique elevator up to the nest, then stop at Rockhounds, a spot in which you can see real gemologists' minerals and fossils!
Before you go grab a souvenir or snack at the Seven Falls Gift Shop, or stop for a delicious lunch or dinner inside Restaurant 1858. This eatery is graced with the presence of award-winning Broadmoor chefs who cook 'classic Colorado food' such as wood-fired steak and trout.
