Aquatica San Diego
Does your group long to shake off the summer heat with awesome waterslides? If so, strap on your snorkels and jump right in! SeaWorld Aquatica Waterpark is located in Chula Vista, a suburb of San Diego, California. The park is only a 25-minute drive to other exciting San Diego attractions on your itinerary such as the San Diego Zoo!
Brand new to the park is Taumata Racer! This high-speed water slide is named after a hill in New Zealand, and boasts a 375-foot slide with mind-boggling 180-degree corner turns and in and out of tunnels before a splashing good finish! Need more speed? Head to HooRoo Run! This is the steepest drop in the park with an 80-foot dead drop down two open-air slides! Once you’re back on your feet you can’t miss the Kiwi Curl! This one gives you the choice of three separate slides, but the most daring takes place in the darkness! Similarly, WhooHoo Falls won’t leave you curious for long as to why they call it that! For six more slides, scurry to Whanau Way where 60-foot water slides are standard fun! If solo play isn’t up your alley, hang together on Tassie’s Twister or Walhalla Wave! A 500,000-gallon wave pool awaits you at Big Surf Shores, while Loggerhead Lane is the wind-down section complete with waterfall and tropical views!
The kids will adore Kata’s Kookaburra Cove, Walkabout Waters and Slippity Dippity, but everyone will agree on yummy summer snacks after a long day of hitting the waves! San Diego’s largest waterpark offers a variety of meals to go and sit-down establishments from Mango Market to Waterstone Grill! Happy splashing!
