Crocker Art Museum
Welcome to the Crocker Art Museum, the longest continuously operating art museum in the West. This museum, formerly known as the E.B Crocker Art Gallery, is one of California’s premier collections of local art and diverse fine art. Crocker is located on O Street and was first established in 1885.
Serving as the primary regional resource for the ‘study and appreciation of fine art’, this museum hosts several different special events and programs important to the community. The permanently offered exhibits outside of the special events include a collection of California art, works on paper, European art, international ceramics, photography, Asian art, and African and Oceanic art.
Opt-in for a docent-led custom group tour while here, or jump in on a regularly scheduled tour. School and youth groups receive the added bonus of this experience is up to Content Standards for their educational benefit.
