Rafting in the Smoky Mountains

Smoky Mountain Outdoors offers its visitors several rafting adventures. One of the trips is known as the Upper Pigeon River Rafting Trip. The experience consists of an exciting 6.5-mile rafting trip down class three and four rapids through the heart of the Smoky Mountains. There will be a guide who will navigate the raft during the entire experience. Guests will enjoy the exhilaration of big waves, big drops, and surfing. You can also take in the beauty of the great outdoors. Rafters will get to run about 70 rapids that range from class one to class four.
Another adventure is known as Upper Pigeon River Extreme Rafting. Each raft will hold three rafters. This trip is recommended for those people who are thrill seekers. In the course of the adventure, guests will be led by a guide who will push you to the limits. You will run go-for-it lines, hit the meat of big waves, and surf all of the favorite waves and hydraulics. Rafters on this excursion must be able to swim and previous rafting experience is recommended.
Smoky Mountain Outdoors also offers its visitors the chance to take part in two activities with an all-inclusive package known as the Hike and Paddle Package. The experience includes a hike, a rafting trip, and lunch at the River Outpost. The hike is two hours in length and is fun for adults and children. While on the hike, guests will learn about the surrounding forests and the rich history of the area. You will hike the best trails in the Smokies.
