Please Touch Museum
When you visit Philadelphia, you should check out the Please Touch Museum. It is the top children’s museum in the area. Their mission is to enrich the lives of children and families by creating opportunities through play. Families with children seven and younger will thoroughly enjoy visiting this one-of-a-kind destination.
At the museum, visitors will find several galleries that provide an environment that is rich in stimulating activities that are fun and offer learning opportunities. The activities are designed to promote skills such as creativity, imagination, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking. They also target other learning skills including family dynamics, cooperation, and practical life skills. One of the exhibits is known as City Capers. The exhibit offers a realistic urban environment of buildings from areas such as Philadelphia’s skyline, a construction zone, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Medical Center. There are activities offered that create a neighborhood inside the museum. One of the highlights of the exhibit is a display of the set and props that are from the beloved children’s TV show known as Captain Noah and his Magical Ark.
Another exhibit is known as Roadside Attractions. At the attraction, children will have the opportunity to decide which destinations and marvels they want to discover and explore. Guests can do things such as setting up road signs, collect tolls, and discover fun adventures to unexpected places. You can also repair your car and fill the tank in the Please Touch Garage and then create a fantasy vehicle in the museum’s Body Shop. You can take a trip into the future on the Monorail Rocket Express.
