Ripley’s Believe It or Not Orlando
In Orlando, you can see some really weird road-side attractions but nothing like the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. Known for its reputation as collectors of the crazy, Ripley’s shows off its eccentric artifacts in their Odditorium.
Strange to a fault, this 10,000 square foot museum was built to look like it’s falling into a sinkhole but not to worry, it’s completely safe...or is it? Explore this odd and fascinating museum full of artifacts that will make you wonder “Is it real?” Shrunken heads, vampire killing kits, and Tibetan decorated skulls are but a few of the artifacts you will find in Orlando. Compare your height to the world’s tallest man and hear strange, extraordinary stories like the one about a decapitated chicken that lived headless for 18 months. Walkthrough 16 themed galleries, explore all 600 exhibits and artifacts and tilt your way through a vortex tunnel. Pick up a souvenir at the museum gift shop on your way out to commemorate your trip through the Odditorium.
Groups of all ages will enjoy the weird and wacky stories, artifacts, and displays. Though the museum does not have space to accommodate parties or group meetings, they do enjoy group tours and even provide fun scavenger hunt lists for those adventurous enough to participate. Come down to Ripley’s and bring your social group, family reunion, scout troop, and more to marvel at the strange and whimsical. Have fun with exhibits showing things that you might see in a circus sideshow like a tiny mermaid or a man literally covered head to toe in tattoos, even on his tongue!
Ripley’s Believe It or Not is a nationwide brand for the wild, incredible, and wholly unbelievable things that, supposedly, happen in our world. Discover what weird truly is and ask yourself, “Do I believe it...or not?”
