In Orlando, you can see some really weird road-side attractions but nothing like the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. Known for its reputation as collectors of the crazy, Ripley’s shows off its eccentric artifacts in their Odditorium.
Strange to a fault, this 10,000 square foot museum was built to look like it’s falling into a sinkhole but not to worry, it’s completely safe...or is it? Explore this odd and fascinating museum full of artifacts that will make you wonder “Is it real?” Shrunken heads, vampire killing kits, and Tibetan decorated skulls are but a few of the artifacts you will find in Orlando. Compare your height to the world’s tallest man and hear strange, extraordinary stories like the one about a decapitated chicken that lived headless for 18 months. Walkthrough 16 themed galleries, explore all 600 exhibits and artifacts and tilt your way through a vortex tunnel. Though the museum does not have space to accommodate parties or group meetings, they do enjoy group tours and even provide fun scavenger hunt lists for those adventurous enough to participate.
