Ripley's Believe It or Not
While you are in Ocean City, you should spend some time checking out Ripley's Believe It or Not. This is the only location in the area where visitors will see a shrunken head, a 12-foot tall transformer, car parts, one-of-a-kind artwork, the world’s rarest egg, and two-headed animals. You can visit three attractions including the Odditorium, the mind-bending Marvelous Mirror Maze, and the challenging Ripley’s Impossible LaseRace. Guests of all ages will enjoy visiting the destination.
One of the attractions at Ripley’s Believe It or Not is known as the Odditorium. It consists of two stories of over 500 exhibits, artifacts, and oddities from all over the world. You will see human and animal oddities. There are exotic primitive items including shrunken heads and cannibal skulls, mind-boggling visual illusions, and a fascinating array of the most unusual strange stuff in Ocean City, Maryland. There is also a tiger skull in the Odditorium.
If you love mazes, Ripley’s is a great place to visit. There is an attraction which is known as the Marvelous Mirror Maze. Guests will come face-to-face with their mug over and over as they try to navigate their way out of the labyrinth of mirrors and LED lights. There are search parties that check on you every half hour. The attraction also includes Ripley’s Candy Factory. There are old-time classics and the latest sweet treats.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not has another fun attraction known as LaseRace. At the attraction, guests will enter a mysterious maze and cross to the starting point. There is a room up ahead with lasers radiating from the walls. You will expertly navigate your way through the lasers, going over and under lasers as fast as possible to reach the end of the maze.
