Niagara Arts & Cultural Center
Welcome to the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center, the cultural center that was founded in 2001 in an old high school building in Niagara Falls.
Today a visit to the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center will open the door to opportunities to see artists, performances, cultural organizations, theaters, galleries, and more. Your group will be able to visit galleries, enjoy festivals and performances, and tour cultural history exhibits located in the building. You will have the opportunity to learn about the building in general, as well, which served as the Niagara Falls Central High School until 2000, originally designed in the classic revival style by William Ittner in 1924.
The mission of the center is 'to embrace the cultural heritage of the past, present, and future as an awe-inspiring multi-arts center', something it does quite well through its various exhibits and classes. Save plenty of time for a guided tour, with various focuses depending on the tour; the Underground Railroad Hidden History Tour, Pathway Through History Tour, and more. During a tour, you will visit any of the 3 galleries, 3 theaters, the sound stage, outdoor venues, or 12 plus galleries onsite. You can also set up a studio visit, special group lecture, or even grab a bite to eat in the onsite artisan cafe, Starry Night Cafe.
