This animal park within Barefoot Landing allows guests to interact, explore, and learn about one of the most feared and most misunderstood animals in the reptile world, the alligator.
This 15-acre park is one of the largest facilities for reptile life in the world, known as the ‘reptile capital of the world’. Inside you will see everything from Albino Alligators to Utan Crocodiles, the largest breed of crocodile in the world. Aside from these magnificent creatures, you will also see over 200 different additional species, ranging from turtles and tortoises to squirrel monkeys and marmosets.
Within the months of April and October, your group will be able to attend live shows and witness up to 15-foot alligators jump out of the water to feed. In all other months alligators don’t feed as much as during their prime season, so you will be able to do additional activities such as lectures and snake and gator handling.
