Welcome to the closest ski resort to Reno, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Located just 25 minutes from south of Reno in Carson Range, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe provides guests with over 1300 acres of groomed ski runs for all levels of skiers!

With a base elevation of 8,260' and a summit elevation of 9,700', Mt. Rose offers some of the best ski and snowboarding conditions in the area. The mountain is considered to be a local icon and hallmark, its distinguishing features making it 'a cut above the rest'.

At the park, you will encounter many different terrains and zones, the wide variety allowing perfect accommodations for any level of skill. Beginners will want to start out at the Enchanted Forest Zone, novice skiers will want to head to Slide Bowl, and any advanced or pro riders in the group will want to skip to The Chutes. The Chutes hold some of the most extreme terrain in Lake Tahoe, as well as the longest continuous vertical in North America.

There are lessons for children, beginners, and adults alike while here, as well as several clinic and camp options.
