Madame Tussaud's of Las Vegas
While your group is in Las Vegas, you should consider checking out Madame Tussauds Las Vegas as part of the visit. The location contains over 100 wax replicas of your favorite celebrities. The museum has two floors and is 30,000 square feet. Group members will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with each celebrity. You can take photos of the replicas and touching them is highly encouraged. The group will find celebrities such as musicians, movie stars, sports figures, and superheroes.
There are various rooms at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for the group to explore. One of the rooms is known as the Hollywood/A-list Room. In this room, guests will come face-to-face with stars such as Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Hugh Hefner, and Jamie Fox. Another room at the museum is the Sports Room. This is where visitors can shoot hoops next to the towering Shaquille O’Neal figure. You can also play golf with Tiger Woods. The Vegas Showroom showcases well-known stars from Las Vegas. Visitors will find celebrities such as Liberace, Wayne Newton, Frank Sinatra, Sigfried and Roy, and Celine Dion. The Sigfried and Roy figure are complete with a white striped tiger.
The process of making a wax figure is lengthy. It can take four to six months to complete. Researchers conduct surveys to determine who should be included in the attraction. They find out as much as possible about the celebrity. They will learn things such as how the celebrities pose in pictures, common facial expressions, and their hairstyle and clothing preferences. Some celebrities are available to come in for a sitting where the stylist will take more than 150 body measurements and 200 photos of the individual.
