Ethel M. Chocolate Factory Tour
When your adult group visits Las Vegas, you should enjoy a sweet treat and check out the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory. The factory was established in 1981 by Forrest Mars. It was named after his mother Ethel who made chocolates from scratch in her kitchen. The quality of the chocolates has not changed and they are handcrafted with fresh ingredients. These rich treats have no preservatives offering a uniquely fresh flavor and texture. Group members will have the opportunity to see the chocolates being made and then get a free sample in the course of the visit.
The group will have the opportunity to take a peek inside Ethel’s kitchen. This is where they make pecan brittle every day and also prepare their signature small batch fillings like satin Crème`s and caramels. The process is done by chocolatiers and machines. After checking out the process, you will be allowed to enjoy a free sample of the quality chocolates.
When your group has finished checking out the chocolate factory, you should walk next door and visit the unique four-acre Botanical Cactus Garden. This breathtaking garden is one of Nevada’s largest and also one of the world’s largest collections of its kind. The group will see drought-tolerant ornamentals, cacti, and other succulents. There are over 300 species of plants that are found on the grounds. Half of the plants are cacti and succulents that are largely native to the American Southwest. The rest of them are desert trees and shrubs from regions such as the Southwestern United States, Australia, and South America.
