Florida Botanical Gardens
"Our Urban Oasis"
Welcome to the gorgeous Florida Botanical Gardens, the largest free-standing botanical garden in Florida, as well as the home of the nation's largest butterfly garden.
The Florida Botanical Gardens land space takes up 120 acres, though only 30 of these are actually cultivated. The rest are considered to be a part of the 'natural area', in which native plants are resurfacing such as Paw Paw and Sand Pine. Walk the nature trail and spot a couple of snags or bobwhite quail along the way! Garden wise, you are going to find Florida native plants, rares, and exotics along the way as you explore the various garden trails, boardwalks, and bridges.
