The Dole Pineapple Plantation is one of Oahu's most popular visitor attractions, welcoming over 1 million visitors each year to come to tour the plantation, shops, restaurant, and plantation garden maze, which is considered to be the world's largest permanent maze!
This attraction originally operated as a fruit stand in 1950, opened to the public as Hawaii's "Pineapple Experience" in 1989. There are enjoyable activities for the whole family here at the plantation, including the Pineapple Express Train Tour, lasting 20 minutes and spanning 2 miles, the Plantation Garden Tour, Pineapple Variety Garden, Plantation Garden Maze, Informational Displays, Plantation Country Store, and Plantation Grille.
The world-famous Plantation Garden Maze is a full 3 acres, with 2.5 miles of trails, and holds 14,000 plants. The Pineapple Variety Garden boasts over 20 different varieties of pineapple, and the Plantation Country store offers famous DoleWhip, fresh pineapple, and many other fun souvenirs and gifts.
Save plenty of time to eat at the onsite Plantation Grille, the eatery offering up island favorites like Teriyaki Chicken and Loco Moco.
