Denver Museum of Nature and Science
While your adult group is visiting Denver, you should stop by the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The location was founded in 1900 by Edwin Carter. There have been a few additions to the building since then, which include the Planetarium and IMAX Theater.
The exhibits at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science are fascinating and educational. One of the exhibitions is known as the Egyptian Mummies exhibit. The display has a pair of wooden boxes that contain two women wrapped in linen and enclosed in painted coffins. These women hold the secrets of 3,000 years. Visitors can also examine tomb artifacts, animal mummies, a model of an Egyptian temple, and model replicas of one of the women’s skulls. Another interesting exhibition is the Prehistoric Journey exhibit. Group members will travel through time beginning 3.5 billion years ago. Guests will have the opportunity to wander prehistoric habitats and observe ancient plants. You can also experience the warming and cooling of Earth’s climate.
The Museum of Nature and Science has an expansive gift shop for the group to explore. You can check out items such as books, science kits, toys, gifts, jewelry, DVDs, and CDs. The team can also dine at the T-Rex Café. Visitors will enjoy hot entrees with an ethnic flare, soups, hamburgers and other hot sandwiches, and pizza. Guests of all ages will enjoy exploring this fascinating attraction.
