Aw Shucks Farm
If your group is planning to visit Charlotte, you should consider checking out the Aw Shucks Farm!
In the course of the visit, you can check out the animals in the Animal Barn. The barn contains animals such as pigs, goats, sheep, two rare turkeys, chickens, and furry rabbits. You may see the goats climbing to the top of their tall tower. You will also see miniature horses in the barn.
The Corn Maze at Aw Shucks Farm is open from September until the middle of November. It is the most popular attraction at the farm and is fun for generations from all walks of life. Group members will take about 25 minutes to emerge from the corn. If you are doing the maze at night, be sure to bring a flashlight.
You and your group mates will have the opportunity to check out an original 1800s wooden train car. The car is a perfect backdrop for your group to take photographs. The car was added to the farm in 2009.
While you are at Aw Shucks Farm, you should stop by the Old Fashioned General Store. It is filled with old-timey items such as toys, candies, and unique gifts that are not found anywhere else. You will also find locally made products which include goat milk, soap, and honey. The team can also visit the Pumpkin Marketplace which offers a variety of seasonal produce, local products, pumpkins, gourds, and Indian Corn.
