Grant's Farm
Grant’s Farm is one of the most widely understated St. Louis attraction. The former Busch family estate from 1954 that offers culture, history, entertainment, and culinary adventure all in one stop! Here at Grant’s, you can find over 100 species of animals within their impressive 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family. The farm’s namesake comes from the time when Ulysses S. Grant worked and lived here, providing your group the unique opportunity to see his log cabin in nearly original condition! This large estate on Gravois Road in St. Louis is home to a petting zoo, historic homestead, and the full Busch experience with the mascot Clydesdales nearby, and even beer samples for the over 21 crowd! Once here it will be very easy to see why U.S. Family Travel Guide Zagat voted this as a top nationwide attraction in 2004, as well as why TripAdvisor has awarded it a Certificate of Excellence twice.
This unique St. Louis landmark combines history, heritage, and wildlife into one unforgettable experience in which you can see Grant’s Cabin, Deer Park, and Tier Garten all within the same day! Deer Park allows you to see some of the most exotic animals next to the most native, from Orange Koi fish to Black Buck Antelope. Head over to Bauernhof, German for Homestead, the onsite historic spot created in 1913 where you can today find original carriage houses, beer samples, and the German eatery Brat Haus. Take a tram ride around the park to see all available shows and attractions, such as the paddle boat rides, pony rides, carousel, camel and parakeet feeding, and gift shops! You can buy farm souvenirs at the General Store, Clydesdale's apparel at the Label Stable, or local sweets from Storybook. There are also four different yet equally delicious eateries throughout, so save time and stomach space for Grant's Farm deli, Tier Garden Treats, Brat Haus, and Showstopper Snacks (the funnel cake is to die for)!
