First Niagara Center
First Niagara Center is located on the waterfront in Buffalo, New York. It is considered to be Western New York’s premier sports and entertainment facility.
The location is known for the National Hockey League’s home team, the Buffalo Sabres. First Niagara Center is a state-of-the-art location, designed with various live entertainment options in mind. Since the grand opening in December of 1996, 11 million people have attended events hosted by First Niagara Center. The venue has hosted some famous sporting events as well! They include the National Hockey League Stanley Cup in 1999, NCAA Division I Men's Basketball first and second rounds and NCAA “Frozen Four” Ice Hockey championship and many others!
