Albright Knox Art Gallery

It was formerly known as the Buffalo Fine Arts Academy and is considered to be among the country’s oldest public art institutions. Most of the collection was acquired through the generosity of its patron, the late Seymour H. Knox. Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, and art from the 1970s through the end of the century are well represented by works from artists such as Arshile Gorky, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, and Jasper Johns.
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery has a collection of art from a variety of genres. Guests will find genres such as Cubism, Surrealism, Constructivism, and other trends of the revolutionary 20s and 30s.
