Bird Kingdom
For an aviary adventure like no other during your Niagara Falls trip be sure to take your group to Bird Kingdom, the Ontario aviary opened in 2003.
This aviary is known as the largest free-flying indoor aviary in the world, an indoor venue that also features reptiles and educational exhibits. Guests will be able to discover hundreds of tropical birds as they explore the pathways throughout the multi-level rainforest, complete with an impressive onsite waterfall and rare Javanese House (the only one of its kind in North America).
You will walk amongst parrots, lorikeets, owls, bats, pheasants, quail, finches, doves, ibis, and so much more within the aviary, then you will have the chance to see tortoises, snakes, spiders, and more within the reptile section. You can participate in an Animal Encounter or Animal Feeding, with chances to feed and interact with animals such as the lorikeets.
While onsite you can also visit the Old Museum, a space that served as a historic corset factory as well as the Niagara Falls Museum. Be sure to ask all about guided tours and educational programs offered to groups during your visit!
