River Walk
Check out the IMAX® Theater at Rivercenter Mall, or take an evening river cruise tour. Then dine at one of the many unique restaurants along the River Walk, such as Casa Rio, the oldest riverside restaurant, with its distinctive multi-colored umbrellas.
Day Two
Bandera
This day trip is about an hour’s drive from the city. You’ll see real cowboys and can take a horseback ride at one of the dozens of dude ranches in the area. Or, drive to San Marcos for mega-shopping at the outlet malls.
Natural Bridge Caverns or Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch
Stop at one of these on the way back to San Antonio.
Day Three
Six Flags® Fiesta Texas or Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort
Choose one of these favorite San Antonio theme parks for an entire day of thrills. Or use two days of your tour and include each!
Market Square
At Market Square, groups of all ages love the year-round Christmas lights and strolling mariachis. Shop for Mexican pottery, folk art, toys and that all-important sombrero at the colorful shops. Savor excellent nachos, tacos, enchiladas, and pralines at one of San Antonio’s great Mexican restaurants, like Mi Tierra.
Day Four
Brackenridge Park
Here you’ll visit the San Antonio Children’s Museum and San Antonio Zoo. Then drop by Kiddie Park on Broadway for a trip back in time.
The County Line
You can’t beat this Texas institution for excellent Texas barbecue and chicken-fried steak on the River Walk.
End your San Antonio thrill ride with one last hasta la vista stroll along the beautiful River Walk.
