Day Two
Denver Zoo
Be amazed by more than 650 species in one of the country’s most popular zoos. The Denver Zoo features close interactions with exotic favorites like amur leopards, king cobras, coral reef fish, elephants, and gorillas. Naturalistic habitats like Predator Ridge, Tropical Discovery, and Primate Panorama are beloved exhibits and part of the zoo’s efforts to help endangered species.
Denver U.S. Mint
This thrilling educational attraction shows you how more than 50 million coins are made each day. The beautiful facility was modeled after a Florentine palace and offers a public tour with a close-up view of the coin-making process, special exhibits, and artifacts from the early days of the United States Mint.
Denver Performing Arts Complex
Take a ninety-minute backstage tour of this four-block, 12-acre performance center. The tour includes dressing rooms, rehearsal studios, costume departments, and Actor’s Alley, adorned with hand-painted replicas of Broadway show posters and cast autographs from the shows that include Broadway blockbusters, Tony Award-winning theatre, ballet, opera, and symphony.

Downtown Aquarium
