Portland Japanese Garden
One of the most scenic and entertaining experiences in the city of Portland, in our opinion, is the Portland Spirit Cruise, the highly fun two-hour cruise along the Willamette River. This locally popular Oregon cruise line offers guests several different cruise options, the most popular being any of the dining and sightseeing cruises.
Once here you and your group will have some tough decisions to make, like whether to take the Dinner, Lunch, Brunch, Oregon City, Radical ‘80s Dance, Queen Melissa Tea, Sightseeing, Friday Early Escape, or Cinnamon Bear Cruise. The Lunch Cruise and Downtown Dinner cruise tend to be the flagship (pun intended) choices with this cruise line, each option offering the most amazingly scenic views, outstanding cuisine, and unbelievable entertainment and live performances. There are romantic options, business group options, and of course, family dining options, though smaller children may enjoy the Cinnamon Bear cruise option the most, complete with magic shows and story time, ensuring that all age groups have a fantastic cruise experience. The vibrant riverside views are only enhanced by the dazzling city lights (and sights) in the distance, making this one truly camera-worthy event!
The boat you will be boarding itself is a 150-foot yacht, complete with three public decks, two of which are enclosed and climate controlled to ensure ultimate comfort in any case of inclimate weather. 340 people can easily fit on the outside decks, and the interior can hold 450. Aboard the ship, you will enjoy delicious northwest cuisine, full-service bars, a singing wait staff, several grand pianos, and even a marble dance floor to take advantage of!
Note: Be sure to pick up your commemorative Captain’s Photo before you go, or stop by the gift shop to grab a souvenir!
