Gatorland is a unique theme park that is fashioned around Florida's most famous inhabitants, alligators! Take advantage of the many experiential tours and adventures to get the most out of your visit to Gatorland.
Walk as close as you dare to hungry alligators with Adventure Hour, see the alligators at night with Gator Night Shine, or pose for a picture sitting atop a nine-foot alligator with Rookie Wrestling. The highlights of this park are opportunities for the public to interact with dangerous reptiles. Trainer-for-a-Day lets you work with a trainer all day to get a unique, up-close experience with a multitude of animals at the park starting out with small lizards and snakes in the morning and working up to the larger animals.
Also a theme park, Gatorland is home to the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line that allows you to fly seven stories over the park along a 1,200-foot long line. There are also water games like squirt gun fights for children to cool down when it heats up outside. Gatorland employees put on shows daily like the Gator Jumping program and Gator Wrestling where you get to see how powerful these reptiles really are and how difficult it is to overpower one.
Gatorland can accommodate the largest of groups. If you are looking for an exciting place to hold your next party or group meeting, look no further. The Crocodile Conference Center is often reserved for meetings but if you are needing someplace larger, the Gatorland Group Pavilion fits 400 people comfortably. Book an up-close encounter program for your group get together to let your group members hold pythons and other wild creatures. The park also enjoys providing birthday party packages and hosting programs specifically for school field trips and scout troops.
