Omaha Children's Museum

Dedicated to learning, growing, and having fun, the Omaha Children's Museum is a must-stop for all groups with younger kiddos traveling with them. This spot contains several award-winning exhibits and programs and is known as a top nationally ranked museum, it has even won an award from the Association of Science and Technology Museums!
Inside you will find over 45,000 square feet of permanent exhibits, traveling exhibits, and classroom spaces. The learning and exploration space throughout includes several popular exhibits, the permanent ones including the Charlie Campbell Science and Technology Center, Arts Smart Center, Imagination Playground, OCM Zooland, Sandy's Splish Splash Garden, and the Walker Tire and Auto Service exhibit. You can check out all the temporary exhibits that will be displayed during your visit on the museum website.
Aside from the exhibits, your group will find field trip activities, educational programs, outreach and camp activities, and even an onsite carousel and train to ride! The programs range from pre-k hands-on learning adventures to Science Shows and STEAM Power for older students.
Be sure to visit the onsite museum store before you go for educational toys and books, and if you work up an appetite and need some brain food head to the 2nd floor Rainbow Cafe, the eatery featuring kid favorites such as hot dogs, chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, and fruit cups.
