Omaha Zoo and Aquarium

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is the perfect attraction for groups of all ages with fascinating exhibits, fun activities, and amazing animal presentations.

The exhibits at the Omaha Zoo are both fascinating and educational. One of the exhibits, Stingray Beach, grants guests the interactive opportunity to touch various species of stingrays. You will encounter Southern and Atlantic stingrays and will even have the opportunity to feed these fascinating aquatic creatures by purchasing a cup of food. Head form there to Expedition Madagascar featuring animals from the island of Madagascar. The exhibit highlights an area of the world that is considered to be one of the top hotspots for biodiversity due to the fact that it is home to the largest number of endemic plant and animal species.

The Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium is yet another spectacular stop where you will have the opportunity to walk on the bottom of the ocean and come face-to-face with amazing aquatic creatures. You will encounter sea turtles, sharks, colorful warm water fish, and Antarctic penguins. The sharks circle above you in the 70-foot shark tunnel as you watch the sea turtles swim lazily through the clear waters.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo has entertaining rides for guests to enjoy. One of the attractions is known as Skyfari on which riders will get to see views of the zoo from the treetops.
