Day One
Ocean City Boardwalk
As soon as you arrive, you’ll want to explore the world-famous boardwalk that’s ten miles long and provides endless fun with eateries and arcades. City buses run a continuous loop up the ten miles to the Delaware line and back for a meager all-day fare.
Life-Saving Station Museum
On south end of the Boardwalk, be sure to tour this historic museum for a look back and for the best view in town of the Inlet harbor and of Assateague Island as well.
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet.
Day Two
Assateague Island National Seashore Park
We’ll arrange for a picnic lunch, so you can spend the whole day on this amazing barrier island. Enjoy a guided tour with one of the park rangers or stroll the walking and nature trails on your own. The undeveloped beach is an adventure with its high dunes and paths. And you’ll catch a glimpse of the world-famous wandering ponies.
Day Three
Delmarva Discovery Center
Travel 45 minutes south to Pocomoke City for this attraction, which lends itself to history, culture, and environmental learning experiences surrounding the rural life of Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Lunch by the River
Take a boat ride from a dock by the Discovery Center and have lunch on the banks of the river.
Explore African American heritage in this fascinating trip to the past. Your tour will be guided by experienced docents.
Return to Ocean City Boardwalk for your final evening.
