Morgan's Wonderland
Welcome to Morgan's Wonderland, the 25-acre all-inclusive theme park built 'for all ages and all abilities'.
First opened in 2010, this park is considered to be the first designed with special needs individuals in mind, though anybody can visit regardless of their abilities. The park was opened by Morgan Hartman's parents, an individual with special needs because they wanted her to feel included in all aspects of life, especially when it came to having fun. Not only did they create this park, but they also created a school in the community and added several benefits to the community in general.
Your group will be able to enjoy the rides, playgrounds, live shows, and even the new all-inclusive waterpark, Inspiration Island. The waterpark features waterproof wheelchairs and has such attractions as Calypso Cove Splash Garden and the River Boat Adventure.
In the main park, you will find rides such as a wheelchair swing, an offroad adventure, a carousel, and much more. There are live action shows and puppet shows within the amphitheater, and there is also a Sensory Village and Picnic Place for your convenience. If you didn't pack a picnic lunch don't worry, you can eat onsite at Morgan's Munchies or LIttle Italy.
If your group is interested in an educational field trip (elementary groups only), you will be able to attend the park's various learning stations (TEKS level) in a closed park setting.
