Sea Life Aquarium has interactive exhibits to explore. One of the exhibits is known as the Interactive Rock Pool. You will see animals that live in the rock pools around the coast. Guests will encounter creatures such as starfish, a sea squirt, and crabs. You can hold a crab without getting nipped, try to spot the shelled creatures, and learn about limpets at the exhibit. Hermit crabs live in colonies up to 100 or even more.
Each day, Sea Life Aquarium hosts feedings and presentations. One of the presentations is Seahorse Feeding. In the course of the program, guests will get to check out a variety of tropical Seahorses and learn interesting facts about these amazing animals. You can watch these fish eat their food and learn what they like to eat as part of the experience. You will learn things such as why they hold on to the seas bedding plants, why they reproduce every three months, and why they are endangered in the wild. Seahorses are harmless to all other fish.
Another interesting creature to observe is known as the clownfish. Visitors can find out why these animals eat marine flake food and shrimp. You can also watch how fast they dash around their habitat. The best time to visit the location is during the afternoon because you will have reduced wait times.
